Roughline is made by one person, so mail goes to a real inbox and gets a real reply — usually within a couple of days.

If something is broken, saying what you were doing, what happened, and which device you were on makes it far quicker to fix.
Common questions
How do I delete my account?
On iPhone or iPad, open the Settings tab and choose Delete account. On the web, click your avatar in the top right and choose Delete account. You will be asked to type your email address to confirm.
Deletion is immediate and permanent: notes, images, conversations, to-dos and settings are all erased. There is no recovery window, so export anything you want to keep first.
How do I get my notes out?
Open a note and use the export button in the top bar to save it as an image or a .excalidrawfile. The file format is Excalidraw’s, so it opens in Excalidraw and anything else that reads it — your work is not locked in here.
My canvas is stuck loading.
Close the note and open it again. If it still will not load, sign out and back in. If that does not fix it, email the note’s title and roughly when you made it, and it can be looked at directly.
The AI gave me something wrong.
It does that. It predicts text rather than knowing facts, so dates, numbers and anything that sounds authoritative should be checked before you rely on it. Asking again with more detail about what you actually want usually produces a better answer than rephrasing the same request.
Why is there a limit on AI requests?
Every request costs money to run, and Roughline is free. The limits are set high enough that ordinary use never reaches them. If you hit one, it resets — waiting is enough.
Does the AI read all my notes?
No. Only the part of the canvas you select and ask about is sent, and only when you ask. Notes you never ask about never leave the database. The privacy policy spells this out.
Can I use Roughline on more than one device?
Yes — iPhone, iPad and the web share one account and one set of notes, and everything saves as you go. Sign in with the same Google account on each.
Do I need an Apple Pencil?
No, but Write mode is built for one. With a Pencil, your palm can rest on the screen and fingers pan the page; double-tap switches tools. Without one, everything still works by touch, mouse and keyboard.
I need an invite code.
Roughline is in closed early access, so sign-up may ask for a code. Email heojay0309@gmail.com and ask for one.
